Navigator Core
Navigator software consists of the Core product called “Navigator Core” - this is the core booking, despatch and accounting and billing package.Advanced featuresOptional features can be added according to the individual business needs.Caller ID, Data Module, SMS gateway, Credit card processing etc.
1. Installation and configuration
Charges are made to covers the initial cost of the feature and the configuration of the software and any associated hardware. Payable in advance and includes 6 months maintenance charge as itemised below.
2. Maintenance
Maintenance contracts for advanced features are charged monthly.
A current maintenance plan ensures the features you use work in accordance with changes in technology and legislation. Maintenance contracts are not to be confused with support contracts detailed below.
For users not wishing to incur monthly charges a once only maintenance plan payment option equivalent to 48 months maybe made as a one off eternal licence for the feature. No further charges will be made for the software. This does not entitle you to version upgrades and should you wish to upgrade to subsequent version with greater functionality there would be an upgrade charge.
Support
Software support is available at 3 levels Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Bronze: is provided through our online ticketing service, email and our User Support Forum.
Silver: Telephone support Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm (excluding bank holidays).
Gold: Telephone support 24 hours (168 hours a week) 24 hour support call centre.
Silver and Gold software support is charged 6 monthly and is directly proportional to the number of vehicles used on the system. Please note that support is for our software only, it does not cover IT or Hardware issues. IT and hardware support is only included with our hardware rental contracts.
Totally free forum support 24 Hours a day
We offer a 24/7 totally free support for our software through the medium of the Diplomat Forums. Please register all your operators on this forum and participate in this totally free service. More often than not one of our technicians is present on the forum and you should get an answer to your query

Important note:
To receive online support you must have internet access from every machine that you wish to be supported.
Diplomat is an internet service provider so if you do not have a broadband connection or you do not currently use a router/firewall for connection sharing we would be pleased to quote to install and configure this.
