By setting up your closest national place your journey times will be more accurate. To do this, from Navigator Client, select the ‘System Preferences’ option from the ‘Configuration’ menu. From here select ‘Plots/Maps/RAP’ from the ‘General’ tab. You will see here, a field labeled ‘Closest national place’ enter your nearest town in here – a drop down box will appear to assist you in your selection. Close this box when done.

Now set your Base plot by selecting ‘Edit Plots’ from the ‘Plots’ menu. Then select the plot where your base is located and check the ‘Base Plot’ check box. Close this box when done.

You should now restart the server to allow the changes to take place. You can restart the server by right clicking the Navigator Server icon in the System Tray and selecting ‘Restart Server’ from the menu options.
