Passenger apps for Android and Ios have been developed with the following features.
One touch registrationThe app will request the passengers phone number and name and the server will respond with a text confirmation hyperlink.
In most cases pressing this hyperlink will be sufficient to authenticate the passenger and launch the app in cash booking mode
The hyperlink may also trigger further questions that will enable app features to be activated such as.
Custom branding (the colours, bitmap and “about us” screen will be replaced.
POI only (Some clients such as National rail will only want local railways to be the option)
POI and manual address entry
The passenger will requesting transportation from a location at a time and place. They will declare the number of passengers and the destination address or location.
The passenger will either have their own account or will have an associated corporate account that they can use as the method of payment when booking the job.
Passenger app workflow
- User/Passenger will download the application.
- User will enter their phone number.
- Entered number will be verified from back-end using SMS gateway.
- Branding feature can then be activated according to parameters.

System busy negotiation
When any request send by the passenger through passenger application through the data aggregator the passenger can potentially view more than 1 pickup options.
For instance if the booking is for 6 passengers then the passenger will be quoted for 1 7 sealer or 2 Saloon cars.
If there are no cars available at the requested time then the nearest time before and after the requested time may be offered.
Android quote and acknowledge app
The purpose of this app is to provide a fast deployment mechanism that will enable fulfilment agents (both booking offices and operator drivers) to download the app, quote for Jobs in real-time, receive job offers and advance bookings.
Every call centre that use Diplomat Navigator will have the option to connect their locally hosted Diplomat Navigator system to the Data aggregator so that it can automate the process of quoting for jobs and accepting bookings.
